Huntington Estate - Pinot Noir Dry Rose
WINEMAKING The 2022 Pinot Noir had beautiful natural acidity. Picked 16/2 from Block 12 at 11.6 Bé. The free run and press juice were kept separate to maintain low environmental tannin impact. Cold and slow fermentation over 10 days, followed by immediate rack off lees to maintain the freshness of the style. Minimal winemaking interference to ensure natural acidity leads the charge as planned. Bottled 16/6 at 12.8% alc.
IN GLASS Salmon, pale rose gold.
IN NOSE Intensive fruit, white peach and passionfruit with hints of strawberry and sugarcane
IN MOUTH Bright, fresh stone fruit with rounded passionfruit sweetness cut by underripe strawberry acids. Light-bodied, clean, and well balanced. Delicate acids with sweetness driven by fruit characters, leading to a dry and moreish finish.
DRINK WITH Perfect for long lazy lunches.
CELLAR TO 2025 – designed for youthful drinking.
