Strongylodon macrobotrys / Jade Vine 140mm
Magnificent showy climbing tropical plant with large clusters of pendulous luminescent jade coloured flowers. Hardy in most soil types and reasonably drought tolerant when established.
* Full Sun, needs a high amount of full sun
* Frequent watering, the Jade vine is a water hog and needs frequent water all year around in a free draining potting or garden soil. Likes to remain moist but not sitting in pooled water
* Fertilise with a high phosphorus fertiliser at the beginning of Spring, Summer and Autumn
* Vine growth pattern, so support on a trellis, fence, pergola or arbour
* Mulch well twice a year
* Choose a position protected from the wind
